At Casa de Salud we are concerned about how you are coping with the Coronavirus public health crisis. It’s important that you stay in touch and do not feel isolated during these extraordinary times. 
We are sharing this to address some common questions and provide answers from folks who know. These are sources like our local and Missouri governments and USA-level agencies. 
We hope our questions and answers help but if that’s not enough please call Casa with your COVID-related questions. The numbers are 314-977-1250 for the clinic, and 314-977-1240 for mental health.

 

What if I feel sick? 
If you have a fever or cough isolate yourself from other family members and all other people. Stay in a separate room and use a separate bathroom if possible. Call us at Casa and we’ll try to put you in touch with a doctor.
Should I get tested for the virus? 
You can get tested only if you have a doctor’s referral to get tested. Call Casa and we can help you figure out if you need testing and how to get in touch with testing places if a test is needed.
Should I come to Casa to be seen? 
No. Casa has run out of the protective equipment that we need to provide direct patient contact services so we’re working through phones and email. The numbers to use are above.
What if I or a family member has chest pain or a seizure or some other serious medical problem? 
Serious common medical conditions require a visit to a doctor. If you can’t get through to a doctor, call 9-1-1. 
What should I do if I’m running out of medicines? Can I  go out to get them?
Yes. Pharmacies are staying open as are grocery stores and hospitals. Emergency Rooms should be open but they’ll be crowded. If you don’t know what to do, call Casa for advice. We may be able to help.
